Pain Block Management

Pain blocks include selective nerve root blocks, epidural/caudal blocks, S-I joint blocks & facet blocks. This technique involves direct placement of the needle under continuous Xray control (C-Arm) and delivery of anti-inflammatory lubricating & numbing injections to the site of pathology.  These procedures are indicated in patient with mild to moderate sciatica, slip disc or facetogenic pain. These procedures are done under local anaesthesia with patient fully awake so the patient is mobilized as early as 1 hour and discharged immediately
